This kerchief is made using a base of chocolate brown silk fabric, a fine layer of cream merino wool roving, and cow spot shaped pieces of brown wool. Through the process called Nuno-felting, the wool fibres become embedded in the silk and fuse, so that the two become one. It makes for a lighter kerchief more suited to the spring and summer months.

This kerchief measures about 34-36” across the top and about 9-10” down to the point. The shrinkage that occurs during the felting process tends to vary, so each kerchief really is one of a kind.
