These pendants are made using Merino Wool. They are felted and shaped by hand and each one is totally unique. They are made using a fine layer of wool so that the light can come through. The lampshade measures about 14” in height and has an opening of about 5”.

Included with the lampshade is a plug in cord set and bulb from Ikea. They are low wattage, LED bulbs that provide ambient light, and reveal the texture of the felted wool when shining through the shade. One of the photos will show you which bulbs will work when it comes time for replacement. This wattage is safe to use with the wool lampshade. I have had a few up in my home and my studio for the last 6 months and have not had a problem with them. The cord is fabric and is 4m long (157”)

This design features colourful scraps of merino wool, felted onto creamy white wool. It will bring a delightful warmth to your home.
