This double petal felted fleur is made by first wet-felting puffs of merino wool roving to create the petals. Then, a felted, wool ball is glued to the stem. And finally, the petals are sewn to a paper wrapped, wire stem. The contrast in texture and shape gives the flower a very captivating silhouette. The stem is sturdy, and can be bent to your liking. I give each one a bit of bend when I finish it up, but feel free to shape it in any way you so desire. The stem can also be cut or bent if you’d like to arrange them in a vase at various heights.

You will not receive the exact flower shown in the photos, however each one will be about the same size and look similar to the flower shown. This is the beauty of one-of-a-kind, handmade creations. :) The petals measure roughly 6“ in diameter, and with the stem, each flower is about 20“ tall.
