Biggie Yarn Scrap Scarf : ready-to-ship

Biggie Yarn Scrap Scarf : ready-to-ship
This scarf is made by felting 100% Merino Wool roving onto a light, woven, cotton fabric. Cut-offs from my friend Jill Sawatzky’s (Tony Chestnut) sweater knitting are felted between the layers of wool. The scarf is light, soft and cozy to wear. Each one is a rectangle shape that measures about 10x70”. Because the shrinkage from felting is a bit unpredictable, each scarf is one of a kind. Both the cotton and wool are a creamy off-white.
This scarf was made with a lot of love, and also a lot of vigor. So you don’t need to be super delicate with it. When you need to wash it, do so by hand with a mild, wool-friendly soap, squeeze out all the water and lay flat, or hang to dry. You may need to stretch it a little in places to bring it back to its original shape. Avoid putting it in the washer or dryer, or you will end up with a much smaller, stiffer scarf. Feel free to email with any care related questions.
Please allow 3-5 days for your item to be felted and ready to ship.
